Introduction
Now, I would like to introduce to you this wonderful world cuisine that is highly sought after and would satisfy even the 'grumpiest' palate.
This wonderful dish could be served anytime of the day, any amount and is good for the heart and soul. No worries of calories or the widening of your waistline and it is recommended by all health officials throughout the world.
Most of us, if not all of us would have tasted this wonderful dish prepared in many different ways and it would have been around for many centuries, perhaps even at the start of the human race.
The Recipe
The secret to preparing this wonderful dish is that you have to start with a SMILE! Got your smile ready...ok, let's start!
Core Ingredients
1 bag of LOVE (note: this is widely available from family, friends, pets..remember to return it)
1 bag of KINDNESS (do things for others)
1 cup of APPRECIATION (learn to appreciate what you have around you)
1 cup of LEARNING (always seek to learn more)
1 cup of DIRECTION (set goals in your life)
1 cup of CARE FOR YOUR BODY (exercise, meditate, good eating habits)
1 cup of RESILIENCE (always find a way to bounce back, there is a solution to every problem)
Some SILLINESS (especially if you have kids around..you have to be a kid again..and hey, it feels good)
note: Please feel free to add loads of your own feel good ingredients if you feel that it will enhance the taste!
Other Ingredients
It is ok if you find the following in your dish..you sometimes need to balance the flavours..so it is ok to have the following ingredients in your dish in small doses:
A pinch of anger (is ok, we are only humans and we do get angry but don't let it go over your head)
A pinch of sadness (to know what happiness feels like, you have to taste sadness)
1gm of confuse ( at times in life, we come to crossroads and we don't know which path to take..it is perfectly normal to feel this way..but once you have a clear mind and direction, you are on the path to happiness again)
A trace of other negative stuff ( well everyone have their own version of seasoning!! and again I stressed that it is ok to have it in your dish of happiness, because without it..it won't bring out the beautiful taste in happiness)
My Preparation
My dish of happiness comes out different everytime..but i make an attempt to have a meal of happiness a day!
Today I started the morning at 3am with the sound of a crying toddler..lovely..so that brought out ingredient LOVE, cos I cuddled and rocked him back to sleep..then I was wide awake and could not go back to sleep..so I made a cup of lovely coffee and APPRECIATE it cos it kept my eyes open and inspired me to write this.
When my hubby woke up, he was running late for work and I was KIND enough to iron his shirt so he was happy with that. Then I got a little bored as the little one was still asleep and decided to LEARN something new from other hubbers and off to hubpages reading really interesting and eye opening hubs. It then INSPIRED me to write a hub and I SET MY GOAL to finish this hub by the end of the day.
Trying to get the ingredient 'CARE FOR MY BODY' was always a challenge for me, but it is still early and I HOPE to find it later in the day.
As the little one wakes up and turn my morning upside down with demands and whines...pulling things from the press and pouring his yoghurt on himself..i almost lost my head..anger, fatigue and frustration crept in. Trying to balance cleaning up the mess that he made and changing him and..and..and..i got confused. I was so lost and didn't know where to start.
But lucky RESILIENCE came around together with some SILLINESS ... made both me and my little terror crack up laughing, tiring him out..and giving him a blissful nap..so that I can continue to finish this hub!!
That my friends is my HAPPY meal!!
